CHAMPIONSHIP WORLDS 2026 BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA             17-19 July

​​​​​​​UCI BMX Racing Worlds Championships is coming downunder in 2026 to the Sleeman Supercross Track in Brisbane.

• Rider Application Window - 12 Jan 2026 - 31 March 2026 
• Junior Performance Window - 23 Jan - 23 March
• U23 & Elite Performance Window - 21 Feb - 15 June

CHAMPIONSHIP QUOTAS ANNOUNCED

UCI have confirmed Championship Nation Quotas for 2026 Worlds. NZL quota is:

• 2 x Junior Men
• 5 x Junior Women
• 1 x U23 Men
• 2 x U23 Women
• 3 x Elite Men
• 4 x Elite Women

2026 WORLDS TICKETS ON SALE

BMX Worlds is a ticketed event.

Supporters need to buy tickets to access the venue on practice and race days for both Challenge and Championship classes.
Challenge riders can watch Challenge racing with their rider accreditation but require tickets to watch Championship racing and practice.
Championship riders wanting to watch Challenge racing will need a ticket for the grandstand but can access the public and trackside viewing areas with their rider wristband.

Championship Worlds will run from July 17-19.  New for 2026, the Championship class event will run before the Challange event.  Here are the key dates to consider when thinking about booking travel and accommodation.

SEEKING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR CHAMPIONSHIP SUPPORT TEAM 

We have a small number of accredited places for managers who will help with the Championship riders at the practice session and race days.

With limited places, preference will be given to people experienced with staging, UCI racing and bike mechanics. We want to ensure that riders have the best possible race experience at World Champs!
